PRESIDENT BATTULGA MEETS VIKTOR ORBAN, PRIME MINISTER OF HUNGARY
Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban paid a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, who is being on a private visit to the 2017 World Championships of Judo in Budapest of Hungary, on August 30. The dignitaries had a lunch meeting, during which they exchanged their views thoroughly on the current state of bilateral relations and cooperation and agreed on activating the economic interactions.
For instance, the dignitaries discussed about the stagnated implementation process of the agreement, which was signed in 2010, on USD 25.0 million assistance loan for financing the Project on Equipment Renovation in Biocombinat State-Owned Industry, and agreed to go after figuring out the reasons for stagnation and forwarding the project implementation. President Battulga, when he was working as the Minister for Industry and Agriculture, had been focusing on the joint realization of this project. Completion of this project is expected to dramatically increase exports of raw materials of agricultural origin, and is of great significance in diversifying the Mongolian economy.
