CHIEF OF STAFF OF PRESIDENT’S OFFICE Z.ENKHBOLD PRESENTS STATE ORDERS AND MEDALS TO PEACEKEEPERS
In accordance with the decree issued by President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga on presenting the contingent of the Mongolian Armed Forces’ Sixth Moto-Shooting Battalion who successfully complete their duties in the UN-mandated UNMISS operation, a ceremony took place today to award the deserved.
A “Red Banner Order of Military Merit”, two “Orders of Military Merit”, 36 “Military Medals of Honor” and 490 “Medals for Peace” were presented by Member of Parliament and Minister for Defense B.Bat-Erdene, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing committee on State structure N.Enkhbold, Chief of Staff of the Office of the President Z.Enkhbold and leaders of Ministry for Defense and the General Staff of Mongolian Armed Forces.
Chief of Staff of the President’s Office Z.Enkhbold said, “You, peacekeepers, have made a huge contribution to strengthening position of Mongolia as the member of United Nations and the international community by Your invincible efforts, hardwork, endurance, professional skills and high discipline, as well as excellent unified formation”.
”Therefore, in recognition of your duties and contributions You have made to consolidating the integrity of Your country, state orders and medals are granted today in pursuance of the Presidential Decree”, he went on.
In the end of the ceremony, Mr. Z.Enkhbold extended congratulations to the contingent of the Sixth Moto-Shooting Battalion for successfully completion of their mission in South Sudan.
