PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIA KHALTMAAGIIN BATTULGA MEETS AMBASSADOR OF QATAR SULTAN AL MANSOURI
Today, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga received today Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar to Mongolia Sultan Salmeen Saeed Al Mansouri.
Beginning the meeting, the President expressed satisfaction with the intensity of growth of ties in tourism and economy, proposals about which were put forward at the previous meeting. For instance, the Qatari side has submitted a proposal on cooperation in tourism, as well on cooperation in sports and development of young people.
Ambassador Sultan Al Mansouri expressed his gratitude for meeting the President of Mongolia once again and conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Emir of Qatar. The Emir wished the people of Mongolia prosperity and all the best, and claimed he stands for promoting bilateral cooperation. The Ambassador underlined the Qatari side is interested in investing in Mongolia.
Recalling his proposals at the previous meeting on beneficial business and economic ties, the President said Mongolians need to learn from Qatar and its ways of effective distribution of natural resources and building cities in the middle of deserts.
He also pointed out that there are numerous opportunities for the two countries to collaborate in water supply in the Gobi, building new cities, sophisticating tourism and processing resources.
The President conveyed greetings to His Highness the Emir of Qatar.
