CHIEF OF STAFF MEETS REPS OF NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF MONGOLIA

Chief of Staff of the President’s Office Z.Enkhbold received representatives of the faculty members of the National University of Mongolia (NUM) today to hear their view. The sides discussed a number of issues regarding alleged illegal actions at the university, including unfair grading, admission of underqualified students, pressure on staff and students, error in financial audit, continuation of operation under an acting president for over a year and immediate selection of a president.

Present at the meeting were G.Eldev-Ochir (Ph.D), associate professor D.Dashdulam (Ph.D), D.Amartuvshin (Ph.D), professor J.Bat-Ireedui (Ph.D) and Student Development and Service Department specialist Sh.Solongo.

Mr. Z.Enkhbold said that the President of Mongolia and his Office will bring attention to the matter of violation of the NUM’s rules and regulations and some laws.
