CHIEF OF STAFF Z.ENKHBOLD ATTENDS INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF TURKISH PRESIDENT
Chief of Staff of the Office of the President Z.Enkhbold attended the inauguration ceremony of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the re-elected President of Turkey, as a special envoy of President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga.
During his visit to Turkey, Mr. Z.Enkhbold met Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, and exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation.
Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu noted that, as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, he attached great importance to the relations between the two countries, especially highlighting the potential for developing bilateral economic relations. The Minister said that the matter of a direct flight between Ulaanbaatar and Istanbul should be resolved in order to do so.
For his part, Mr. Z.Enkhbold spoke about the necessity to develop private sector cooperation in order to take bilateral economic cooperation to a new level, even though people-to-people relations intensified as the citizens of the two countries are now allowed a visa-free travel. The sides also discussed cooperation opportunities in the sectors of tourism and agriculture.
