NON-RESIDENT AMBASSADORS PRESENT LETTERS OF CREDENCE
Non-resident ambassadors presented their letters of credence to and paid courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga today. The latter received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Mohamed Osama Taha El Magdoub, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Piriya Khempon, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Djauhari Oratmangun, and Ambassador of the Vatican City State, Mr. Alfred Xuereb in this regard.
President Battulga requested the Ambassadors to work toward upgrading bilateral relations from their countries of residence. The President underlined that it will be convenient to broaden bilateral relations since the Ambassadors’ countries of residence are the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea which are nearby.
The President also exchanged views on developing tourism and agriculture with the Ambassadors, in particular, about bringing letters and records related to the history of the Great Mongol Empire from the Vatican City State with which Mongolia can cooperate in the areas of history and culture.
