PRESIDENT ATTENDS THE GRAND OPENING OF THE WORLD INVESTMENT FORUM
The biennial World Investment Forum, organized by the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development, officially commenced for the 10th time in Geneva, Switzerland, on October 22nd.
The Forum has brought together Heads of State and Government, Ministers, policymakers, investment experts, and representatives of the private sector and international organizations working in sustainable development and poverty.
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga attended the grand opening of the Forum and the 2018 United Nations Investment Promotion Awards ceremony. President Battulga presented the United Nations Award for Promoting Investment in Sustainable Development to the Lesotho National Development Corporation and posed for a group photo.
Afterwards, President Battulga visited an exhibition showcasing countries’ investment opportunities and interacted with officials in front of the Mongolian pavilion. President Battulga will deliver remarks at the Global Leaders Investment Summit.
