AMBASSADOR OF AUSTRALIA PRESENTS LETTER OF CREDENCE
The newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia to Mongolia, Mr. David Vosen, presented his letter of credence to President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga today.
In this regard, President Battulga received the Ambassador and discussed matters related to bilateral relations.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Battulga congratulated Ambassador Vosen on his appointment, while emphasizing the active cooperation between Mongolia and Australia on all levels despite the geographic distance. Therefore, President Battulga expressed his confidence that the Ambassador would make efforts towards furthering bilateral relations and developing mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas.
Ambassador Vosen thanked President Battulga for the acceptance of his credentials and the meeting. The Ambassador conveyed his readiness to support the interests of and work closely with Mongolia while expressing his commitment to the interests of Australia.
During the meeting, President Battulga and Ambassador Vosen exchanged views on issues related to bilateral cooperation in trade, business, mining, and education, as well as renewable energy.
At the end of the meeting, President Battulga expressed his readiness to receive the Ambassador in regard to bilateral relations matters at any time and wished success to his work.
