MONGOLIA OPENS ITS EMBASSY IN THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga attended the inauguration ceremony of the Embassy of Mongolia in the Kyrgyz Republic today.
During its meeting on February 1, 2017, the Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy of the State Great Khural of Mongolia discussed and approved a Cabinet proposal on upgrading the level of representation of the Mongolian Consulate General in the Kyrgyz Republic to Embassy.
In accordance with the decision, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia made its proposal on opening a Mongolian Embassy to the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Embassy has thus been opened today.
Present at the inauguration ceremony were, President Battulga, Chief of Staff to the President of Mongolia Z.Enkhbold, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg, Consul General of Mongolia to the Kyrgyz Republic T.Ganbold, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chyngyz Aiderbekov.
