WREATH-LAYING CEREMONY AT THE ZHUKOV MONUMENT
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who is paying an official visit to Mongolia, paid tribute to and laid wreaths at the Monument to Marshal Georgy Zhukov, late Commander of the Mongolian-Soviet Army Group, four times recipient of the Hero of the Soviet Union title and Hero of the Mongolian People’s Republic. During the ceremony, the heads of state greeted the veterans of the Battles of Khalkhin Gol.
