AMBASSADOR OF MONGOLIA TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION APPOINTED
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga issued a decree on appointing D.Davaa to the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation today. Effective on the same day, D.Davaa was released from his position of Defense and Security Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia.
The newly-appointed Ambassador holds the military rank of Lieutenant-General, having graduated from the Military Logistics University in Volisk, the former USSR, in 1986 and the Military Logistics and Transportation Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia, in 1997. He worked in the defense sector since 1986, in particular, as Chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces since 2015 and as Defense and Security Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia since November, 2018.
