Prime Minister of India Welcomes President of Mongolia
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa is paying a State Visit to the Republic of India at the invitation of President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi from October 13 to 16, 2025.
Upon arrival at “Hyderabad House”, President Khurelsukh was received by Prime Minister Modi, after which the two leaders posed for an official photograph. As part of the visit, President Khurelsukh and Prime Minister Modi planted a commemorative tree in the garden of “Hyderabad House” to symbolize the friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Mongolia and India.
The leaders noted that the tree planting reflects the shared commitment of the two nations to address global climate change and protect the environment, aligning the “Billion of Trees” National Movement of Mongolia with the “One Tree in Mother’s Name” Initiative of India.
Following the welcoming ceremony, President Khurelsukh and Prime Minister Modi held a tête-à-tête and began official talks.
