AMBASSADOR OF SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIA
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia, Ms. Doan Thi Huong presented the letter of credence to the President of Mongolia, Mr. Khaltmaagiin Battulga on August 18.
After this, the President received the newly affiliated Ambassador for a bilateral meeting.
Ambassador Doan Thi Huong conveyed the congratulations from the President of Vietnam, Mr Trần Đại Quang to the President of Mongolia, Mr. Kh.Battulga on being elected the head of state, and shared her happiness for taking office as the head of diplomatic mission to represent her own country in Mongolia.
In response, President Battulga answered Mr. Trần Đại Quang’s greetings with gratitude, congratulated Ms. Doan Thi Huong and promised to hold official meetings for further cooperation. The President also pledged all means of support from the government bodies of Mongolia for smooth operations of the Embassy of Vietnam.
During the meeting, the President recalled his visit to Vietnam, which took place during his time in position of the Minister of Industry and Agriculture and during which he made deals and negotiations of Mongolia-Vietnam ties and cooperation.
The Ambassador, Ms. Doan Thi Huong said: “The people of Vietnam always remember and reminisce the help and support from the government and people of Mongolia during the grievous days of war in Vietnam”.
Present were at the meeting, Member of Cabinet and Minister for Foreign Affairs Ts.Munkh-Orgil, Chief of Staff of the Office of the President Z.Enkhbold and other related officials.
