PRIME MINISTER OF REPUBLIC OF TURKEY BINALI YILDIRIM PAYS COURTESY CALL
Head of the Government of the Republic of Turkey Binali Yildirim, who is on an official visit to Mongolia, paid today a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga.
Wishing success in his visit to Mongolia, President Battulga underlined that this visit is of great importance in widening cooperation between Mongolia and Turkey.
The two sides agreed on the full potential of Mongolia and Turkey in promoting cooperation in tourism, infrastructure and agriculture. President Battulga expressed an interest to start cooperation with Turkey in re-designing the Orkhon Valley Complex as a tourist landmark.
Mr. Binali Yildirim highlighted that the cooperation in tourism can contribute to promoting the shared cultures of two countries to the globe and is significant in introducing Turkey to ancient historic monuments preserved in Mongolia.
Annual trade turnover of the two countries stands at around $30 million. The dignitaries shared a view that this is an insufficient performance, and agreed to promote effectie cooperation in various sectors.
