LETTERS OF CREDENCE PRESENTED BY NON-RESIDENT AMBASSADORS
Non-resident ambassadors presented their letters of credence to President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga today. The latter received the Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia, Mr. Juan Pablo Rodriguez Barragan, Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Imad Moustapha, and Ambassador of Georgia, Mr. Zurab Abashidze in this regard.
Ambassador Juan Pablo Rodriguez Barragan appreciated the opportunity to present his letter of credence to and pay a courtesy call on the President of Mongolia, while expressing his commitment to advancing bilateral relations in all levels as he reside in Seoul representing Colombia. President Battulga noted that the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Colombia is falling this year and wished prosperity to the people of Colombia. Mongolia established diplomatic ties with Colombia on August 10th, 1988. The Ambassador of Mongolia to Colombia resides in Havana, Cuba, and the Ambassador of Colombia to Mongolia resides in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
Mongolia established diplomatic relations with the Syrian Arab Republic on July 31st, 1967. President Battulga discussed issues of bilateral relations with Ambassador Imad Moustapha.
Moreover, Ambassador Zurab Abashidze appreciated the formal reception of the Ambassadors. President Battulga expressed interest to intensify cooperation with Georgia in the areas of politics, trade, economy, tourism, and agriculture.
