PARLIAMENT APPOINTS LEADERSHIP OF THE INDEPENDENT AUTHORITY AGAINST CORRUPTION
Within his power stated in Section 1 of Article 21 of the Anti-Corruption Law of Mongolia, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga forwarded his proposal on appointing Dashdavaa Zandraa to the position of General Director of the Independent Authority Against Corruption (IAAC) and Batsaikhan Janjaa to the position of Deputy General Director. The Parliament discussed the proposal at its plenary session today.
Chief of Staff to the President Z.Enkhbold introduced the President’s proposal under consideration of the Parliament and answered the questions of members of the Parliament.
Following the inquiries of the MPs, the President’s proposal on appointing Z.Dashdavaa as IAAC General Director was backed by the Parliament with vote of 94.6 percent and J.Batsaikhan as IAAC Deputy General Director with vote of 87.5 percent.
