FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MONGOLIAN-RUSSIAN JOINT COAL TERMINAL DRAFTED
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, who is attending the Fifth Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, the Russian Federation, met Alexander Isurin, President of FESCO Transportation Group, one of the leading transportation and logistics companies in Russia.
During the meeting, Mr. Isurin thanked President Battulga for his continued support to the project on the construction of a coal terminal, which is being jointly implemented with Erdenes Tavantolgoi JSC, and briefed the latter regarding the project feasibility study that has been drafted.
According to the feasibility study, a coal terminal with an annual capacity of 6 million tons will be built within the first phase of the project until 2022 while the capacity is expected to reach 10 million tons by 2024 within the second phase.
It was informed that FESCO Transportation Group had worked closely with the Mongolian Erdenes Tavantolgoi JSC in formulating the feasibility study, and the project commencement was announced as the initial version of the feasibility study was presented to President Battulga.
