Today, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga gives his response to the request for consent to the new composition of cabinet, and presented the letter of response to Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh, wishing the best of success in his works.<\/p>\n
The President noted in the letter, \u201cPeople of Mongolia have put their trust in the Mongolian People\u2019s Party to implement and fulfill its agenda by electing the majority of their candidates in the 2016 parliamentary elections.<\/p>\n
A cabinet hailed as \u201cprofessional\u201d has been formed shortly after, eventually, failed to fulfill what was promised, and instead, exercised wrongful policies that contradicted the agenda, due to which the cabinet has been ousted after operating for a little over one year.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI, as the President, deem that a person who has certain interest in mining business cannot hold a position of member of cabinet. Today, the enormous amount of money infused from mining has been acting as the tool for defiling justice in politics, economy and every other social sectors, and demolishing prime principles and norms that must be pursued in the state functions.\u201d, he stressed.<\/p>\n
