President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga responded to Speaker of Parliament Miyegombyn Enkhbold on the proposal on discussion about Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, the Prime Ministerial candidate nominated by the Mongolian People\u2019s Party, the incumbent ruling party. The proposal was presented to the President earlier today.<\/p>\n
The response was presented by Chief of Staff of the President\u2019s Office Z.Enkhbold.<\/p>\n
The official letter reads, \u201cDue to dismissal of the cabinet formed after the Parliamentary Elections of 2016, the Mongolian People\u2019s Party (MPP) has nominated Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh to Prime Minister\u2019s position, and the proposal on consent was submitted to the President on September 27 of 2017.<\/p>\n
In enjoyment of full powers bestowed upon the President of Mongolia in pursuance of Section 1 of Article 33 of the Constitution of Mongolia, I hereby propose the State Great Khural on appointing Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh the Prime Minister of Mongolia.\u201d<\/p>\n
