On the occasion of the 2227th anniversary of the Statehood, 812th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, 107th anniversary of Restoration of Independence, 97th anniversary of the People\u2019s Revolution, 29th anniversary of the Democratic Revolution, and the Mongolian traditional celebration of Lunar New Year \u2013 Tsagaan Sar, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga issued a decree to grant the \u201cHero of Mongolia\u201d, \u201cPeople\u2019s\u201d and \u201cHonored\u201d titles, and state orders and medals. The awards were presented by the President on February 14th.<\/p>\n
The award ceremony took place in the Chamber of Nine White Banners of the State Palace.<\/p>\n
Chief-Coach of national judo league of Mongolia Baljinnyam Odvog was awarded the title of \u201cHero of Labor\u201d of Mongolia. Formerly a great national wrestling champion O.Baljinnyam led successful career as a judo and sambo wrestler on international tatamis, trained numerous athletes who claimed success in the continent and the world, and brought development of Mongolian judo to a higher level.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople\u2019s Artist\u201d title was conferred to Nanjid Dunjaa, who made a priceless contribution to establishing Mongolian school of national choreography, promoting dance studies, and training professional dancers in Mongolia.
\nTitles \u201cPeople\u2019s Doctor\u201d, \u201cHonored Environmental Worker\u201d, \u201cHonored Industrial Worker\u201d, \u201cHonored Construction Worker\u201d, \u201cHonored Trainer\u201d, \u201cHonored Actor\u201d, \u201cHonored Construction Worker\u201d, \u201cHonored Medical Doctor\u201d, \u201cHonored Herdsman\u201d, \u201cHonored Economist\u201d and \u201cHonored Artist\u201d were conferred, as well as \u201cPolar Star\u201d Order and other state medals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"date":"2018-02-14T15:12:48","excerpt":{"rendered":"
