{"id":3730,"slug":"exhibition-showcases-replicas-of-letters-sent-from-mongol-khaans-to-european-rulers","status":"publish","tags":[],"title":{"rendered":"EXHIBITION SHOWCASES REPLICAS OF LETTERS SENT FROM MONGOL KHAANS TO EUROPEAN RULERS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In anticipation of the annual \u201cNational Language and Script Day\u201d, observed on May 7<sup>th<\/sup> under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, the State History Museum of Mongolia opened today an exhibition showcasing replicas of letters from the Great Khaans of Mongolia to foreign rulers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The original letters are preserved in different places such as the Vatican Secret Archives and the German National Library.\u00a0 The replicas are created using same types of calligraphy and design as the original copies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Chief of the Office of the President of Mongolia Z.Enkhbold addressed the opening of exhibition.<\/em> He said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cDistinguished guests,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A good day to You! The exhibition dedicated to celebration of the National Language and Script Day observed under the auspices of the President of Mongolia is displaying replicas of letters from Great Khaans of the Golden Lineage sent to European kings. The person who must take credit for the replicas which are also individual art-pieces is calligrapher E.Ariunbold. \u00a0These letters sent by the descendants of Great Chinggis Khaan are not only priceless heritages of language and culture, but also are historic evidences Mongolian State Protocol. This exhibition is special in a way it is showcasing a whole collection of replicas, and has a great significance in awakening children and youth\u2019s pride in their mother language and culture.
