On the occasion of the 2227th anniversary of the Statehood, 812th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, 107th anniversary of Restoration of Independence, 97th anniversary of the People\u2019s Revolution, 29th anniversary of the Democratic Revolution, and the Mongolian traditional celebration of Naadam festival, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga issued a decree to grant the \u201cHero of Mongolia\u201d, \u201cPeople\u2019s\u201d and \u201cHonored\u201d titles, and state orders and medals.<\/p>\n

President Battulga presented the awards on July 9th. The award ceremony took place in the Chamber of Nine White Banners of the State Palace.<\/p>\n

On behalf of the thousands of workers of Erdenet Mining Corporation, which has made a valuable contribution to the economy and the mining sector of Mongolia, drilling machine operator B.Batbayar was awarded the title of \u201cHero of Labor\u201d of Mongolia.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople\u2019s Teacher\u201d title was conferred to M.Tserendorj, senior faculty member at the Mongolian State Conservatory, in recognition of his contribution to the development of the Mongolian State Conservatory, and Kh.Altankhuyag, consulting coach of the Mongolian Boxing Federation, for his contribution to the development of boxing sport in Mongolia.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople\u2019s Artist\u201d title was presented to anchor of the \u201cMongolian Radio\u201d G.Ravdan, who made a high contribution to the development of theater, film, television and radio in Mongolia, by portraying many impressionable roles in the theatrical and film arts, and by immortalizing his voice in a number of documentaries and other works.<\/p>\n

Titles \u00a0\u201cHonored Industrial Worker\u201d, \u201cHonored Construction Worker\u201d, \u201cHonored Trainer\u201d, \u201cHonored Artist\u201d, \u201cHonored Athlete\u201d, \u201cHonored Teacher\u201d, \u201cHonored Economist\u201d, \u201cHonored Cultural Figure\u201d, \u201cHonored Art Figure\u201d, \u201cHonored Medical Doctor\u201d, \u201cHonored Economist\u201d and \u201cHonored Environmental Worker\u201d were conferred, as well as other state medals.<\/p>\n
