A ceremonial conference commemorating the 70th anniversary of the armed confrontation in the western border of Mongolia, which is referred as the Western Border Confrontation in the history of Mongolia , was held today.<\/p>\n

President of Mongolia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga delivered congratulatory remarks and presented awards at the conference.<\/p>\n

Pursuant to a decree of the President, the Red Banner Order of Military Merit was presented to Border Troops Unit No. 0130, on the occasion of its 85th anniversary and the 70th anniversary of the Western Border Confrontation, and in recognition of the honorable service of the border guards, soldiers, officers, and workers of the unit who guarded the territorial integrity of Mongolia selflessly, remained loyal to their oaths before the country and the people, and acquired admirable merit before their future generations.<\/p>\n

The Order of Military Merit was presented to the Border Troops Unit No. 0164 on the occasion of its 80th anniversary and the 70th anniversary of the Western Border Confrontation.<\/p>\n

The Order of Sukhbaatar was conferred upon veteran soldier Bayanjargaliin Log for loyalty to his oath before the country and the people and for guarding the independence and territorial integrity of Mongolia selflessly.<\/p>\n
