At its plenary session on June 7, the State Great Khural discussed and resolved to approve the President’s veto on the Amendment to the General Administrative Law.<\/p>\n

During the plenary session, Chief of Staff to the President Z.Enkhbold introduced the veto under consideration of the Parliament while Member of Parliament L.Munkhbaatar introduced the conclusion of the Standing Committee on Justice regarding the veto.<\/p>\n

Following the introductions, members of the Parliament raised inquiries and gave remarks regarding the veto before proceeding to vote. As the Parliament was unable to gain a two-third majority on overriding the veto, the veto was consequently approved.<\/p>\n
