Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of\nHungary P\u00e9ter Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3, who is visiting Mongolia at the invitation of\nthe Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar, paid a courtesy call\non President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the beginning of the meeting, President Battulga stressed the necessity to accelerate the Biocombinate Renovation Project before the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Hungary, which the both countries will celebrate next year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hungarian side has finalized the issuance of USD 57 million loan to Mongolia for the renovation, and the Mongolian side has to ratify the document. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr. P\u00e9ter Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3, expressed the same stance regarding acceleration of the project, as well as his confidence that it will become a flagship project between the two countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, Mr. P\u00e9ter Szijj\u00e1rt\u00f3 also informed that the Hungarian Export-Import Bank had opened a credit line of USD 46 million for advancing bilateral cooperation, saying that it could be utilized for the manufacturing of export products combining Hungarian technology and Mongolian resources, as proposed by President Battulga. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Battulga expressed his view that rather than high-level meetings and visits, a permanent cooperation mechanism to support economic relations was necessary for the development of bilateral business cooperation, and that Foreign Ministers should pay close attention to this matter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The head of state of Mongolia also emphasized the potentials for bilateral cooperation in tourism, water management, and export and exchanged views on the ways to expand cooperation in these areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
