{"id":5851,"slug":"meeting-with-delegation-of-the-world-health-organization","status":"publish","tags":[],"title":{"rendered":"MEETING WITH DELEGATION OF THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga today received\ndelegates of the World Health Organization, including Dr. Takeshi Kasai,\nRegional Director for the Western Pacific, and Dr. Sergey Diorditsa, Country\nRepresentative for Mongolia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning of the meeting, President Battulga\nexpressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between Mongolia and the WHO\nand wished Dr. Takeshi Kasai success on his new position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Battulga informed Dr. Takeshi Kasai, who is visiting Mongolia for the first time, of the general situation surrounding the most common diseases affecting the population and the underlying causes that are considered essential to find reflection in the WHO Country Cooperation Strategy for Mongolia in the next five years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, President Battulga spoke about the increasing\nincidences of contagious diseases, suicide, cancer, sexually transmitted\ndiseases, and dental problems, while naming the underlying causes, including\nhigh levels of air pollution, poor food safety, and lack of prevention\nmeasures.
