{"id":6299,"slug":"remarks-by-president-khaltmaagiin-battulga-at-the-closing-of-aravt-international-cavalry-competition","status":"publish","tags":[],"title":{"rendered":"REMARKS BY PRESIDENT KHALTMAAGIIN BATTULGA AT THE CLOSING OF ARAVT, INTERNATIONAL CAVALRY COMPETITION"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cTroops\nand officers, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Distinguished\nguests and friends!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am absolutely delighted and grateful\nfor the successful organization of the international cavalry competition \u2018Aravt\u2019\nin Mongolia, the land of horsemen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On behalf of the steppe horsemen, I\nwould like to congratulate all the servicemen who partook in the first cavalry\ncompetition and finished their task after undergoing many challenges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mongolian horses played an enormous role throughout many events in the contemporary Mongolian history that restored the national freedom and independence and defended the nation. Credit should also be given to the cavalry troops that fought in the Battles of Khalkhin Gol, the 80th anniversary of which will fall soon, for their service that brought us victory. We prepare to celebrate the historic anniversary with our friends that we fought shoulder to shoulder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are placing special importance on\nthe first edition of the international cavalry competition \u2018Aravt\u2019, which is a\nnew addition in the International Army Games, hosted by the Russian Federation,\nand is being held in Mongolia for its first year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the outset, organizing the international\ncavalry competition \u2018Aravt\u2019 is constructive in terms of strengthening the\ntraditional friendship and mutual understanding and trust between the\nparticipating countries. Furthermore, it is helping us ensure security and\nregional stability, preparing us to serve the common interest of humanity with\njoint efforts and close cooperation, and increasing trust. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the International Army Games\ncontinue to expand over the years, I am confident that the international\ncavalry competition \u2018Aravt\u2019 will also grow, with more cavalry troops partaking\nin the competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I appreciate the efforts of all the\nathletes of the competition and wish them well-being. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would also like to invite you all to
