Premier of State\nCouncil of the People\u2019s Republic of China Li Keqiang paid a courtesy call on\nthe President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga on February 27 and expressed\ngratitude to the latter for visiting China and showing moral support under the\ncurrent circumstances that arose with the novel coronavirus outbreak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Premier said that\nChina was providing accurate data in a timely and transparent manner to\ndecelerate the spread of the novel coronavirus and expressed readiness to work\nwith countries around the world towards bringing the situation under control. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is believed that China\u2019s\ntraditional approach to curing the novel coronavirus, although no vaccine has\nyet been developed, has been proven effective, thus leading to the lowering of\nemergency levels in eight locations, including cities and provinces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premier Li Keqiang\nstressed the importance of maintaining vigilance until full control has been\ngained over the outbreak despite the fact that the provinces under lower levels\nof emergency directly shared borders with Mongolia, while expressing readiness\nto work with the corresponding institutions in Mongolia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the\nPremier expressed his hope that bilateral trade and mutual travel will be\nnormalized in a short amount of time once the existing challenge is overcome\nand expectations for the presidential visit to advance bilateral ties to a new\nlevel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his part, President\nBattulga noted that his visit was a manifestation of the solidarity between our\ntwo countries and that a constant line of communications and close cooperation\nbetween neighboring countries make an efficient tool for overcoming a crisis.\nPresident Battulga also concluded that the meeting had consolidated the\nfriendly relations between the governments and peoples of Mongolia and China. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the meeting, President Battulga expressed his confidence in the success of the leading group, led by Premier Li Keqiang, on the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus outbreak, and wished the Chinese people well-being. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
