Upon closing today\u2019s ceremony for presenting Orders to the mothers from Chingeltei District, President Battulga said in his speech: \u201cPolicy promoting growth of the country\u2019s population and helping mothers to raise their children in secure environment must never be overlooked, and in fact, the policy should be prioritized. Conferral of this Order is a beautiful tradition of Mongolian statehood, a representation of traditional mentality of the people of Mongolia and their great respect for mothers\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The Glorious Mother Orders have been conferred each year since 1959. According to the Law on Rewarding Mothers with Multiple Children, passed in 2010, Second Class Order is conferred on mothers who birthed and raised 4 or more children, and First Class Order is conferred on mothers who birthed and raised 6 or more children.<\/p>\r\n

Due to this year\u2019s circumstances and in pursuance to COVID-19 precaution efforts, the President is presenting some orders on the local level and with adjusted time schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga has presented the Orders of Glorious Mother to the mothers from Dornogovi, Umnugovi and Dundgovi provinces, and Bayanzurkh and Chingeltei Districts of Ulaanbaatar.
