{"id":6986,"slug":"japans-fm-motegi-toshimitsu-calls-on-president-battulga","status":"publish","tags":[],"title":{"rendered":"JAPAN\u2019S FM MOTEGI TOSHIMITSU CALLS ON PRESIDENT BATTULGA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Motegi Toshimitsu paid a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, today, while on visit to Mongolia. \u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning of the meeting, the President underlined that the visit of Japanese FM maintains the frequency of high-level exchanges between Mongolia and Japan, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dignitaries shared views and updates on the plans for\ncelebrating the 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of diplomatic ties taking place in\n2022, and bilateral cooperation in mining, road and transport, infrastructure,\ntrade, and humanities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Battulga highlighted that the level of bilateral\neconomic and trade relations is unsatisfactory compared to the history of\ndiplomatic relations, marking the 50<sup>th<\/sup> jubilee, with Japan, the\nStrategic partner and \u201cthird neighbor\u201d to Mongolia.
