On February 27th <\/sup>, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga paid a visit to the People\u2019s Republic of China, and held meetings with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping<\/a> and Premier of the State Council of PRC Li Keqiang<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, President Battulga stated that the people of Mongolia are donating 30 thousand sheep as a manifestation of goodwill to the people of China, who are going through a difficult time due to the pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, an official ceremony was held in Zamiin-Uud, Dornogovi\nprovince, for handing over the donation of 30 thousand sheep to the Chinese\nside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Present were, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industries\nof Mongolia Z.Mendsaikhan, Chair of the Mongolia-China Parliamentary Group\nB.Delgersaikhan MP, Vice Chair of the group Sh.Adishaa MP, Vice Minister of\nForeign Affairs B.Munkhjin, Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia\nT.Tegshjargal, Assistant Minister of Commerce of the People\u2019s Republic of China\nRen Hongbin, Governor of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Bu Xiaolin, Ambassador\nExtraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the People\u2019s Republic of China\nT.Badral, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People\u2019s\nRepublic of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

President\u2019s Advisor T.Tegshjargal remarked in his speech: \u201cDuring the peak of the Chinese people\u2019s combat against COVID-19 pandemic, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga paid a visit that expressed solidarity of the peoples of Mongolia and China. This was in the light of the tradition of putting into action the proverb \u201ca needle in time of need is of greater use than a camel in time of prosperity\u201d, and reflecting the principle of tackling problems by providing mutual assistance and moral support, and joining efforts to attain growth\u201d. \u00a0He also mentioned that the people of Mongolia have not only given their warm consent to the President\u2019s initiative, but also mobilized a nationwide campaign to assist the Chinese people with moral and material support, in which, herders have taken an active part. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
