On the new year’s eve, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga delivered a televised message to the people of Mongolia and the Mongols around the globe. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Fellow Mongolians, the descendants of the great ancestors, and <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

the Mongols, our flesh and blood, scattered throughout the earth!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We meet again today a few moments before a new year ascends.\nThe Year of 2021 is coming toward all Mongolians, bringing with itself hope and\naspirations for the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The passing year of 2020 was spent in the midst of efforts\nto overcome the challenges that befell on us by the global pandemic. The\ntwentieth year of the third millennium has taught us an invaluable lesson of\nloving our planet, cherishing each other as humanity, and realizing the values\nof unity and honesty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These difficult times have shown the inevitable necessity\nbefore the Mongolian governance to exercise timely policies in order to\nstrengthen the livelihoods, integrity\nand economic independence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A year ago today, I made a statement promising one-time write-off\nof loans of pensioners, from the first revenue of the commercialization of\nSalkhit silver deposit, retrieved as a state property based on the decision of\nthe National Security Council. That seems like yesterday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the threshold of the coming year, to keep up with\ninternational practices for promoting livelihoods, national manufacturers and\nbusinesses, and to keep workplaces in these difficult times, I, as the\nPresident of Mongolia, once again put forward the proposal for distributing\nvouchers of 1 million tugrugs for households to purchase goods of national\nproduction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the past three years, the jurisdiction has been working\nsuccessfully on the cases of secret offshore accounts of oligarchs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As You all know, since I assumed office, I have demanded the\nindependence of jurisdiction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the fight for protecting justice, the staff of\njurisdiction and law enforcement have been loyally observing their duties\nbefore the public, the people. For instance, investigations have began\nunfolding concerning white-collar crimes, in other words, the crimes of\nstealing the opportunities from ordinary citizens and embezzling state and\npublic properties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are the part of my fight to reclaim justice and and to\nprovide opportunity for citizens to yield equal benefits from the national\nwealth, as provided by the Constitution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This fight goes on, however, through a storm of difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fair distribution of wealth cannot be limited to one or two\noccassions. Instead, it must be exercised through sustainable policies with a\nprinciple, which dictates that \u201cworkplace is the best welfare\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The citizens of Mongolia are the very root of Mongolian\nstatehood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

May the Year of 2021 bring peace and health to the world, happiness, peace of mind, and most importantly, justice to our people!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
