With reference to Section 1.8, Article 33 of the Constitution, Section 15.2 of the Law on the President, and Section 1, Article 6.14 of the Criminal Code, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga issued decrees, on the occasion of the International Women\u2019s Day, to grant pardons on 21 mothers who had committed first-time offences with a minimum range of imprisonment, and on the occasion of Nowruz, the Spring Festival, to grant pardons on several members of Kazakh minority who had also committed first-time offences, namely theft of television sets, cell phones and stove sets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
