On May 21, 2024, President Khurelsukh received the honorary guest, Executive Secretary Ibrahim Thiaw, and exchanged views on cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">President Khurelsukh commended the Secretariat of the UNCCD for its active role in elevating the issues of environmental protection, combating\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">desertification<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and reducing land degradation to the forefront of global attention over the past 30 years since the adoption of the United Nations Convention to Combat\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Desertification<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.
