During the State Visit, the two Heads of State signed a Mongolia-Slovenia Joint Declaration on August 20, 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cMongolia-Slovenia Joint Declaration\u201d<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the Joint Declaration between Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia, the two sides affirmed their commitments to ensuring peace, security, and environmental sustainability, achieving sustainable development, upholding human rights for all, and particularly, supporting proposals and initiatives that contribute to global efforts to promote gender equality and\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">women&#8217;s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0rights in all social sectors, increasing\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">women&#8217;s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0participation in mitigating climate change, biodiversity loss, combating desertification, and ensuring food security.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Furthermore, the two sides agreed to expand friendly relations and cooperation by aligning\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mongolia&#8217;s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0peaceful, open, independent, multi-pillar foreign policy and its<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0&#8220;<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">third neighbor policy<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">with the Republic of\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Slovenia&#8217;s<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0commitment to peace, security, prosperity, good bilateral relations, and a\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">strong<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0multilateral system with the UN at its center.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7861 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/president.mn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/456117525_561655026188688_5932493239980807375_n-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/president.mn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/456117525_561655026188688_5932493239980807375_n-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/president.mn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/456117525_561655026188688_5932493239980807375_n-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/president.mn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/456117525_561655026188688_5932493239980807375_n-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/president.mn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/456117525_561655026188688_5932493239980807375_n-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/president.mn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/456117525_561655026188688_5932493239980807375_n.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Also,\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the following documents were signed<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cMemorandum of Understanding on Tourism Cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia and the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia\u201d<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The two sides will implement joint projects and programs, increase tourist numbers, and develop internationally competitive sustainable tourism. The two countries will cooperate in conducting joint research on tourism products, services, and opportunities, intensifying tourism marketing and advertising, developing eco-tourism, and protecting natural resources and cultural heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201c<\/span><\/em>Letter of Intent to Establish an Intergovernmental Agreement on Aviation Relations\u201d<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Letter of Intent to Establish an Intergovernmental Agreement on Aviation Relations is crucial for creating a legal framework to conduct flights, facilitating the movement of people and businesses, and fostering trade and economic relations and cooperation between the two countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cMemorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Forestry between the National Forest Agency of Mongolia and the Slovenia Forest Service and Slovenian Forestry Agency\u201d<\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mongolia and Slovenia will maintain a stable, long-term cooperation focused on developing forestry and sustainable forest management.
