At the invitation of President of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye\u00a0<\/span>Recep<\/span>\u00a0Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa is paying a State Visit to the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye\u00a0<\/span>on January 15-19, 2025<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the State Visit, the two sides signed 11 cooperation documents<\/span>, aiming at expanding and developing<\/span>\u00a0relations and cooperation between the two countries.<\/span>\u00a0President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and\u00a0<\/span>President of<\/span>\u00a0the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan signed a Joint Declaration on Establishing a Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mongolia and the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye have maintained a Comprehensive Partnership since 2004. During the State Visit of the President of Mongolia\u00a0<\/span>Khurelsukh<\/span>\u00a0Ukhnaa\u00a0<\/span>to<\/span>\u00a0the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, the two countries elevated relations to a Strategic Partnership. As a result, Mongolia has now established a Strategic Partnership with nine countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Minister of Health of Mongolia Munkhsaikhan Togtmol and Minister of Health of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Kemal Memi\u015fo\u011flu signed an Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in Health and Medical Sciences between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

In recent years, relations and cooperation between the two countries in the health sector have expanded, with an increasing number of Mongolian citizens traveling to T\u00fcrkiye for medical treatment. Therefore, the two sides will collaborate to strengthen ties between healthcare institutions, improve the supply of medicines and medical equipment, conduct joint diagnostics of diseases, exchange expertise in medical fields based on advanced technologies, and implement joint projects and programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Minister of Education of Mongolia Naranbayar Purevsuren and Minister of National Education of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Yusuf Tekin signed an Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in Education between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The two countries will cooperate in exchanging teachers and students, sharing knowledge, information, and experience in education,\u00a0<\/span>as well as<\/span>\u00a0undertaking joint projects and\u00a0<\/span>research,<\/span>\u00a0and improving the professional development of teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia Nomin Chinbat and Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Osman A\u015fk\u0131n Bak signed an Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in Youth and Sports between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The two sides will expand cooperation between the youth and sports organizations of the two countries by promoting youth participation in sports, formulating policies to support their personal, social, cultural, and artistic development, fostering youth involvement in science, technology, and innovation initiatives, and developing programs focused on youth employment, career advancement, and vocational training.<\/span><\/p>\n

Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Mongolia Odontuya Saldan and Minister of Environment, Urbanisation, and Climate Change of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Murat Kurum signed an Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in Environment between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The two countries will collaborate on environmental management, climate change mitigation, cleaner production, biodiversity conservation, the management of specially protected areas, the development of environmental information systems, and the strengthening of human resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Mongolia Odontuya Saldan and Minister of Environment, Urbanisation, and Climate Change of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Murat Kurum signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Forestry between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The two sides will cooperate in combating desertification and land degradation, reforestation, planting trees, and nurturing seedlings. The two sides will also combat harmful insects and forest and grassland fires, provide necessary materials and equipment, and enhance the capacity of human resources. The two countries agreed to implement the advanced wildfire prevention methods of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, based on scientific and environmental research, in Mongolia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Mongolia Odontuya Saldan and Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye of Murat Kurum signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Establishing a Sister Park Relationship between the Administration of the Orkhon Valley Natural Complex Protected Area of Mongolia and the Sakarya Meydan Muharebesi National Park of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Under the memorandum, the two sides will cooperate in managing protected areas, conserving natural resources, conducting ecological restoration, undertaking long-term joint research and monitoring in response to climate change, supporting eco-tourism and environmental education, sharing experience in the management and operations of natural parks, and strengthening capacity in these areas.<\/p>\n

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Alparslan Bayraktar signed a Letter of Intent on Cooperation in Mining between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Under the Letter of Intent, the two sides will share knowledge, technology, and experience in areas such as coal extraction, clean coal technology, and mine safety, implement joint projects, and strengthen capacity in the sector.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Minister of Road and Transport of Mongolia Delgersaikhan Borkhuu and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Abdulkadir Uralo\u011flu signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Road and Transport of Mongolia and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.\u00a0<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Under the memorandum, the two sides will expand cooperation in the railway sector and explore the possibility of establishing new railway freight routes from European countries to Mongolia via the <\/span>Republic of <\/span>T\u00fcrkiye, and vice versa. Also, the two sides will collaborate on ongoing and future railway infrastructure projects in Mongolia and share experience and information to develop international railway corridors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Munkhbayar Gombosuren and President of the Turkish Competition Authority Birol K\u00fcle signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Competition Policy between the Anti-Monopoly Agency of Mongolia and the Competition Authority of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Under the memorandum, the two sides will exchange experience and information on competition-related legislation, build the capacity of their staff, and carry out mutual expert exchanges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Director General of the Mongolian National Broadcaster Gerel Gankhuyag and Director General of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Mehmet Zahid Sobac\u0131 signed a Protocol on Cooperation in the Radio and Television Sector between the Mongolian National Broadcaster and the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Under the Protocol on Cooperation, the two sides will exchange television programs and best practices, collaborate on creative productions, and promote mutual understanding and cultural awareness about Mongolia and the Republic of <\/span>T\u00fcrkiye.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"date":"2025-01-17T19:04:46","excerpt":{"rendered":"
