On January 27, 2025, President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye to Mongolia Zafer Ate\u015f, upon the completion of his term in Mongolia.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

President Khurelsukh highlighted that\u00a0the first visit by the President of Mongolia to the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye in 21 years, which took place within the commemoration of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, was highly successful. The President expressed gratitude to Ambassador Zafer Ate\u015f and the staff of the Embassy for their efforts in organizing this historic visit that elevated bilateral relations between the two countries to a Strategic Partnership.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, in recognition of his contributions to expanding and developing Mongolia\u2013T\u00fcrkiye relations and cooperation in politics, defense, economy, trade, culture, education, and humanity, and consolidating the peace and friendship between the peoples of the two countries, President Khurelsukh awarded Ambassador Zafer Ate\u015f the \u201cFriendship\u201d Medal.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Zafer Ate\u015f expressed gratitude to the Government and people of Mongolia for their all-around support and collaboration during his tenure. The Ambassador expressed his commitment to exerting all efforts towards further expanding and developing bilateral relations between the two countries. Ambassador Zafer Ate\u015f presented his Letter of Credence to the President of Mongolia in May 2021.<\/p>\n
