{"id":8582,"slug":"president-of-mongolia-officially-welcomed-in-the-republic-of-tajikistan","status":"publish","tags":[47],"title":{"rendered":"President of Mongolia Officially Welcomed in the Republic of Tajikistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, who is paying a State Visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, was officially welcomed by President Emomali Rahmon at the Palace of the Nation on July 24, 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/montsame.mn\/uploads\/content\/013cc55c8665b216b87cd7dbf371ff49.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the official ceremony held in the square in front of the Palace of the Nation, the national flags of both countries were raised. Following the report by the Commander of the Honor Guard to President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the National Anthems of the two countries were played, accompanied by ceremonial gun salutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/montsame.mn\/uploads\/content\/6642200d81a67fd1ef26ada55be60d7f.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Khurelsukh and President Rahmon reviewed the Honor Guard, exchanged greetings with members of the official delegations, and posed for a commemorative photo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two Heads of State are scheduled to hold a one-on-one meeting and official talks, take part in a signing ceremony of bilateral cooperation documents, and deliver a joint press statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Located in central Dushanbe, Palace of the Nation is regarded as a unique architectural symbol of the country\u2019s independence and a reflection of Central Asian history and culture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mongolia and the Republic of Tajikistan established diplomatic relations in 1992.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Republic of Tajikistan declared its independence in 1991 and has a presidential form of government. President Emomali Rahmon has served as Head of State since 1994.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tajikistan has a population of over 10 million and a gross domestic product of approximately USD 17 billion. The country\u2019s economy is mainly supported by non-ferrous metals, hydropower, agriculture, transport, communications, mining, food, light, and chemical industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Major exports include mineral resources, cotton, primary aluminum, energy, fruits, vegetables, cotton yarn, cement, leather, and hides. Imports mainly consist of food, machinery and equipment, construction materials, and chemical products.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tajikistan possesses abundant rivers, lakes, and freshwater resources, accounting for 60 percent of Central Asia\u2019s water reserves.
