HEAD OF STATE CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT DONALD J.TRUMP ON SINGAPORE SUMMIT
The President of the United States of America and the Chairman of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea successfully concluded their historic summit with the signing of a Joint Statement on June 12th in Singapore.
In connection to the Singapore Summit, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga has sent a congratulatory message to President of the U.S. Donald J.Trump.
In his message, President Battulga said:
“Mr. President,
At the outset, allow me to extend my sincere congratulations on a successful completion of the historical meeting, which took place between the leaders of the United States and DPRK in Singapore.
It is my belief that the signing of the Joint Statement and reaffirmation by the two sides of their sincere commitments to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula have set a tangible beginning of bringing peace, security, stability, and prosperity to the region.
In your letter addressed to me in February 2018, you confirmed the United States’ commitment to achieving the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and that success requires the dedication and responsibility of all governments of the world.
While stating the fact that Mongolia has been determined and committed to the stability and prosperity of our region, and contributing toward this endeavor, I share your words that the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula is starting very quickly. Mongolia will stay committed to being part of this process and is determined to cooperate.
Taking this opportunity, Mr. President, I would like to once again congratulate and wish you all the best.”
