President Battulga said to reporters, “I have opened the Naadam festivity for the second time. Last year, I didn’t shoot a bow and arrow because I was unprepared. For this year’s Naadam, I trained three or four times. One of my shots hit the target. I am delighted.”

Present at the race were, Speaker of the State Great Khural Miyeegombyn Enkhbold, Prime Minister Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, Chief of Staff of the Office of the President Z.Enkhbold and members of the Cabinet and the State Great Khural. Then, President Battulga visited the ger of horse trainer B.Battur, whose stallion won the race.

On this day, President Battulga gave an interview to Mongol TV, and issued a decree to award the outstanding archers, child jockeys and the wrestlers who won their respective games. The President presented the rank of the State Champion to N.Batsuuri, who upgraded his rank State Lion by winning the wrestling tournament.
