STATE ORDERS AND TITLES CONFERRED
On the occasion of the 2228th anniversary of the Statehood, 813th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, 108th anniversary of Restoration of Independence, 98th anniversary of the People’s Revolution, 30th anniversary of the Democratic Revolution, and the Mongolian traditional celebration of Naadam festival, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga issued a decree on awarding state decorations, orders, and medals, including the Hero of Labor Mongolia and “Honored” titles.
President Battulga presented the awards on July 8. The award ceremony took place in the Chamber of Nine White Banners of the State Palace.
The Hero of Labor of Mongolia title along with the Order of Sukhbaatar was conferred upon Sharav Byambasuren, Chinggis Khaan Order and State Prize Laureate, and Jantsannorov Natsag, People’s Artist and Twice State Prize-awarded Laureate, who advanced the development of professional music in Mongolia and made an invaluable contribution to the musical repertoire of the world and Mongolia with their numerous classical compositions that reflect the distinctive traditional style, feature their own characteristics, and are imprinted in the hearts of the people.
Moreover, President Battulga conferred the Hero of Labor of Mongolia title along with the Order of Sukhbaatar upon Ragchaa Baatar, State Honored Construction Worker, in recognition of his great contribution to the development of geodesy and cartography in Mongolia and the training of many professionals in these fields, and Shirnendugar Nyam, who dedicated many years of his life for the responsible duty of ensuring railway security and train control, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Ulaanbaatar Railway.
More state titles including, Honored Industrial Worker, Honored Science Figure, Honored Construction Worker, Honored Artist, Honored Athlete, Honored Teacher, Honored Economist, Honored Cultural Figure, Honored Medical Doctor, and Honored Economist, were conferred.
