MEETING WITH MONGOLIAN-AMERICAN BUSINESSPEOPLE
On July 31, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga held a working meeting with American investors and businesspeople who are interested in investing in Mongolia, as well as representatives of government institutions.
The head of state held a candid discussion with the American investors regarding the Mongolian economy and investment environment. Especially, the upgrade in bilateral relations with the declaration on the Strategic Partnership engaged the attention of the investors.
President Battulga spoke about the vast opportunities of investing and doing business in Mongolia and particularly stressed the importance of focusing on introducing technology and establishing processing plants in Mongolia when investing in the agriculture, high technology, health, and mining sectors.
The meeting was attended by private and public sector representatives, including of the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Commerce, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the World Bank, Monsoon Blockchain Storage, Inc., Wood Capital Partners LLC, Rio Tinto, and Boeing Company.
