MEETING WITH VAJUBHAI RUDABHAI, GOVERNOR OF KARNATAKA, INDIA
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, who is on a visit to the Republic of India, arrived in Bengaluru City of Karnataka today to meet local officials and familiarize with the activities of Indian information technology, energy, space research institutions and companies.
The Governor of Karnataka, Mr. Vajubhai Rudabhai, called on the President of Mongolia upon his arrival and extended gratitude for paying a visit to India, thus making an invaluable contribution to the strengthening of the Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
Mr. Vajubhai Rudabhai mentioned that many Mongolian monks studied at the Gomang School in Karnataka and discussed the conditions and opportunities for Mongolian students studying information technology in Bengaluru. The Governor said that quality of education was advanced in Karnataka as the state has substantial potentials and technological capacity to be referred as the Silicon Valley of India.
President Battulga welcomed the discussion of bilateral educational ties and expressed his pleasure with developing bilateral cooperation in the sphere of information technology, given that the sides had discussed cooperation in this sphere during his state visit.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged elaborate views on the opportunities and areas for cooperation with Bengaluru City and Karnataka.
