NON-RESIDENT AMBASSADORS PRESENT THEIR LETTERS OF CREDENCE
Non-resident ambassadors of some countries, who are accredited to Mongolia, presented their letters of credence to President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga today.
In this regard, President Battulga received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Mongolia Wim Geerts, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Mongolia Khairullo Ibodzoda, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Mongolia Teshome Toga Chanaka today.
President Battulga congratulated the ambassadors on their appointment and exchanged views regarding the ways to broaden bilateral relations at all levels. In particular, the President noted the importance of agriculture sector in the strengthening of economic ties and discussed the newly-opened opportunities for jointly implementing projects in certain areas such as the development of greenhouse farming and halal-processed meat. For instance, Ambassador Geerts expressed the Netherlands’ interest in working with Mongolia in the area of greenhouse agriculture through workforce training and introduction of new technology by sending its experts next year.
President Battulga remarked that the ambassadors’ efforts will make a significant contribution to the development of bilateral ties and expressed his full support to their works.
