HEAD OF CABINET PRESENTS NEW MEMBERS
Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh presented the composition of his new cabinet to the President, today, before the formal approval of appointments. The head of state received the official letter introducing the new cabinet members a day prior.
At the presentation were, Deputy Prime Minister Ya.Sodbaatar, Chief Cabinet Secretary L.Oyun-Erdene, Minister of Environment and Tourism D.Sarangerel, Minister of Defense G.Saikhanbayar, Minister of Foreign Affairs N.Enkhtaivan, Minister of Finance Ch.Khurelbaatar, Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs Kh.Nyambaatar, Minister of Labor and Social Welfare A.Ariunzaya, Minister of Construction and Urban Development B.Munkhbaatar, Minister of Education and Sciences L.Tsedevsuren, Minister of Road and Transport Development L.Khaltar, Minister of Mining and Heavy Industries G.Yondon, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industries Z.Mendsaikhan, Minister of Energy N.Tavinbekh, Minister of Health T.Munkhsaikhan and Minister of Culture S.Chuluun.
Underlining the fact that the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) has won the majority (62) seats in the Parliament and the great expectations that come with the ultimate electoral victory, President Battulga informed the gathered that he was presented with the resumes of the yet-to-be appointed ministers. The President then asked questions from certain members of the cabinet.
