ORDER OF SUKHBAATAR CONFERRED TO URAL FEDERAL UNIVERSITY
In accordance with the decree of President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, the Ural Federal University of the Russian Federation was awarded the Order of Sukhbaatar. The high state prize was presented, October 23rd, by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation D.Davaa at the ceremony dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the University, held in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

Dear Victor Anatolyevich!
Esteemed professors, teachers, staff, students, graduate students, alumni, and honorable friends!
I would like to convey my heartfelt congratulations on the 100th anniversary of the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin!
For university, this is the age of wisdom, prosperity and greater prospects. Today, thanks to a highly professional teaching staff and competent management, the Ural Federal University (UrFU) occupies a leading position among universities in Russia and the world.
Over the years of its existence, UrFU has trained hundreds of thousands of highly qualified professionals, including thousands of Mongolians, who have realized themselves in various fields of activity, have made great contributions to the growth of the economy and the improvement of the welfare of the country as a whole.
Each Mongolian graduate from the Ural Federal University has made a contribution to the country’s development. Due to the knowledge gained within the walls of your leading university, and due to the talent, dedication and tremendous work, hundreds of UrFU graduates have become prominent figures in the social and economic sectors, as well as in public service of Mongolia.
Many famous alumni wanted to come in person to today’s ceremony dedicated to the 100th anniversary of UrFU, but due to the pandemic, unfortunately, they could not. Nevertheless, I would like to proudly speak the names of outstanding alumni, representatives of our country, renowned politician, former speaker of the Parliament Enkhbold Zandaakhuu, former ministers and current members of the Parliament Bat-Erdene Dashdemberel and Choyzhilsuren Battogtokh, Chairman of the Mongolian Association of UrFU Alumni and former Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Munhbayar Gombosuren, academicians Batmunkh Sereeter and Sodnomdorj Dari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of “Mongolia” Trust Fund Ariunbold Lkhagvajav and so on. Of course, it is impossible to mention all the famous alumni.
I want to express that the alumni will continue to make a worthy contribution to the multipartite partnership of Mongolia, especially Mongolian-Russian relations within the frames of the comprehensive strategic partnership.
On this solemn day, I express my sincere gratitude to the management and the entire faculty, all graduates and students of the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N.Yeltsin, and wish you good health, happiness, prosperity, new creative, scientific and educational achievements and constant growth!

It is with great respect and pleasure that I announce that, in accordance with the decree of the President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N.Yeltsin is being awarded the high state prize of Mongolia, the Order of Sukhbaatar, in recognition for preparing Mongolian professional cadres, and their contribution to the country’s development.
