LUNAR NEW YEAR GREETINGS FROM PRESIDENT KHALTMAAGIIN BATTULGA
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga delivered a televised speech on the first day of the Year of the Ox.
“The Mongolians, who reigned for thousands of years over the mother land bestowed by the Great Eternal Sky, and
all Mongols scatterred through the face of the earth,
Allow me to deliver the first greetings of the New Lunar Year of the White Ox on the first day of the national holiday – Tsagaan sar.
As you cannot stand in the same water twice in the flowing river, we face the timely hardships and obstacles with the strength of our unity.
The time has come for us to rise hand in hand for the revival of our national pride.
Dear Mongolians,
May the coming Year of the Ox give You the wings and become the guiding star through the better and smoother road to success and national growth.
May this Tsagaan Sar bring my people the opportunity to welcome peace and prosperity, under the auspices of the highly worshipped Burkhan Khaldun Mountain, the heart of the Great Mongol Empire built by our ancestors.
May all families overflow with happiness, health, wisdom and well wishes!
