PRESIDENT KHURELSUKH ARRIVES IN TASHKENT FOR A STATE VISIT
President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh and First Lady Luvsandorj Bolortsetseg arrived in Tashkent, the Capital City of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for a State Visit, on June 23, 2024.
President Khurelsukh and the Mongolian delegation were greeted at the “Islam Karimov” International Airport in Tashkent, by Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, and non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Mongolia Farhod Nuriddinovich Arziyev.
This is the first State Visit by the Head of State of Mongolia since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 25, 1992.
Upon their arrival at the Independence Statue of Uzbekistan, President Khurelsukh and the Mongolian delegation were greeted by the Honorary Guard of Uzbekistan. President Khurelsukh and First Lady Bolortsetseg paid their respects at the Independence Monument and laid a wreath. After the Wreath Laying Ceremony, the Director of the History Museum of Uzbekistan Jannat Khamidovna Ismailova briefly introduced the History of the Republic of Uzbekistan engraved on the Museum walls.
