PRESIDENT SENDS CONDOLENCES OVER FLOODING IN IRKUTSK PROVINCE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga expressed condolences to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin over the flooding in the Irkutsk Province.
The President’s letter reads:
“Allow me to express my sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims of the heavy flood in the Irkutsk Province, the Russian Federation.
In the wake of the event, the Mongolian people have started raising donation and garnering the most essential items, food, warm clothes, drugs and health products to provide humanitarian aid to the victims of the flood. Moreover, the children’s resorts in Mongolia are ready to receive up to 100 children from the flood-affected districts of the Irkutsk Province.”
The Office of the President of Mongolia has called for rendering humanitarian aid for the citizens of the Irkutsk Province and is continuing with the collection of aids.
