PRESIDENT TO PAY A STATE VISIT TO THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga will pay a state visit to the Republic of India, at the invitation of President Ram Nath Kovind, on September 19-23, 2019.
During the visit, President Battulga will hold official talks with President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Republic of India. President Battulga also plans to meet M. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, and members of the Government of the Republic of India.
Within the framework of this visit, which is the first visit by the head of state of Mongolia to India in the last 10 years, bilateral talks will focus on the strengthening of the Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and India in political, security, defense, trade, investment, economical, educational, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. Moreover, the sides will exchange elaborate views on bilateral cooperation at the international and regional stages.
During his visit, President Battulga will visit Gaya and Bengaluru Cities, as well as historical and cultural sites that are associated with Mongolia and science and information technology centers in India.
